Maryam Hadi is currently enrolled as Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience in SISSA. She holds a Master’s in Developmental Psychology from the University of Sapienza in Rome, and a private Master’s in Sport Psychology. Her Ph.D. research focuses on cognitive and non-cognitive factors affecting the gender gap in numeracy. Her primary research interests include gender differences, attention, anxiety, cognitive reserve and the application of techniques such as EEG, tDCS, and TMS. Her upcoming research, "The Impact of Non-Cognitive Factors on Arithmetic Performance: Gender and Academic Field Variations," is currently in preparation.
