Miriam graduated with a Master's degree in Mind Sciences (Scienze della Mente, University of Turin, Italy; 110/110 summa cum laude and Distinction). The thesis, entitled “Child abuse: Consequences of children victimization” consisted of a large review of the available literature and in the statistical analysis of approximately 350 protected hearings results (quantitative) and an in-depth analysis of the variables of the cases. However, her main research interest has always been cognitive neuropsychology. Her current research interests involve aging, category-specific semantic deficits, and neurodegenerative diseases
