Nadia Bersier obtained her Master degree at University of Geneva, in cognitive psychology. In SISSA, she now focuses on spatial cognition, and how it is impacted by a variety of different factors such as gender, top-down strategies, sex hormones, bottom-up influences and cognitive traits. She has developed expertise in functional magnetic resonance imaging and related tools such as FSL and SPM.
